Superior Absorption Runes were 80K

Thunderhead Keep was the most hateful mission in the game and the monks went on strike.

When the 55 monks suffered the first major nerf, we stood in Temple of Ages REFUSING to ever ever EVER close the game and be forced to get the new build

I remember when I was in the original GW beta, got into Ascalon, and just saw people running around and chatting. I thought, this game sucks and didn't play until a week or two after official launch.

That's my very first memory of GW.

I Remember:

-Gates of Kryta being the start of the game (beta ofc)
-When Rurik had green armor
-The doppleganger was a big thing
-there weren't traders, and the day the rune trader came out.
-when SoCs were retarded to cap with
-when /roll was a big thing
-when faction wasn't in the game

hehe yeah I was in the crystal desert farming hydras, while my friend was testing faction...I was so pissed because I put the wrong adress on the delivery form and the faction box went back and forth between 3 adresses. got it 1 week later, missed the tengu festival

Or during a furnace run, I had a sup absorption drop for me... sold 96k...I don't even salvage them off now :s

We had giant dance parties in Pre.
Naked ele fems running around Pre.
Farming Charr to get to level 20 in Pre when it was easier.
The first Halloween/Wintersday events, when nobody knew what to do.
Finding a Chaos Axe in FOW the first time.
Wiping on AAtaxe in UW .
Being part of the THK Monk strike, and dancing while chatting to the other monks there.
Getting my first 15k.
Infusing my Pumpkin Crown/Yule Cap

My favorite memories were before Factions came and ruined Guild Wars in my opinion.

i remember some1 laugh at my 55 monk build for uw tanking (with a r7 20% ench sword just for slashing the nightmares), and told me to knock my head on my keybord... turned out i tanked smiter run in 10 min which is way faster than he's 1-group-at-time never die leet build (whatever). just want to tell him if he sees this: don't knock ur head on the keybord, don't change ur leet build, it's all about skill, boy.
